If you only drink chardonnay and savignon blanc, then open your palate to this Italian white wine. Crisp, acidic with fresh yellow fruit. It cuts through seafood like a knife. You will love it.
A 2011 Bastianich Aragone blend, $48. Drinking well now. The Syrah gives this wine depth, color and ageing capability. Dark fruit notes shine through. Try it with a ribeye steak. Reminds me of a Brunello or a Barolo.
