August 24. Boca Raton Resort, A Waldorf Astoria Property. On Saturday night from seven to ten in the evening at this exquisite location, known as one of the best resorts in the country, the Boca Raton Chamber held its annual Wine & all that jazz event. Attendees dressed in their best. Crowds took pictures like movie stars as they entered the great ballroom at the red carpet like photo booth area. There were over a dozen wine, beer and whiskey tables pouring their elixirs. The most interesting and delicious elixir of the evening had to be the peanut butter whiskey! Yes, peanut butter flavored whiskey. It is delicious! Top wines from California were offered in red, white and bubbly. Shari from the AFWC in the VIP room was pouring an outstanding selection of top tier wines. Blair from Gourmetphile, a boutique wine and charcuterie shop in Royal Palm Plaza served delicious truffle cheese with a honey drizzle. (Sign up at Blair and Shari’s business sites for notifications of their wine tasting events). There were meatballs, sausage and peppers, salmon tacos, cold soup shooters, fried rice with shrimp and chicken, desserts galore, salad creations, sliced meats, chicken and sausages (VIP area), artisanal cheeses, chicken rigatoni, gluten free options and more.  Provided by Maggiano’s, Oceans 234, Crazy Uncle Mikes, Funky Buddha, Barrel of Monks Brewing, Mad Robot Brewers, Prosperity Brewers, Cafe Med, Seasons 52, The Melting Pot, Mariposa, Henry’s, Burton’s, Benihana, the Boca Raton Resort and Max’s Grille provided the food bites. Live musicians provided the music for the dancing. An auction of great prizes was offered for those who purchased the many raffle tickets sold at this event. Maybe you won a Lexus from JM? Valet parking is complimentary. So mark you calendars for August 2020 and buy your tickets early for the next Boca Chambers Wine & All that Jazz event. And of course a big thank you to the Boca Chamber – Keith Ian
