Boca Raton. Saiko-i restaurant a one year new Sushi Lounge and Hibachi was rocking on a Wednesday evening. A large happening space. You are greeted by a giant Buddha statue covered in one dollar bills for good luck. Lawrence the GM and three hostesses greet you right away. The front right of the restaurant is the hibachi area. Next a sushi bar on the left and a upscale and modern dinning area in the back with tables and private booth seating. An indoor/outdoor bar was full with happy hour seekers and a DJ rocking out the crowd of all ages for ladies night. The tasty dim sum sampler $9 offers four quick bites of seafood, duck and pork selections. The cucumber crab roll $9 is a rice-less refreshing treat for those avoiding carbs. The blue crab roll $12 is absolutely delicious. I could have eaten four of them! Sushi presentations and creations are artful. The hibachi selections start at $27 for two meat choices, rice, vegetables, salad and soup. The mushroom miso was very good. The simple salad with ginger dressing was refreshing. The hibachi shrimp and chicken dish I ordered was a large portion size. It could satisfy two eaters if sushi rolls are consumed beforehand. I have to say Saiko-i is one of the most happening places to eat at in Boca Raton.  Check it out and see for yourselves. – Rick Rooney
