Lorelei Restaurant. Islamorada. Florida Keys. I love conch fritters. Usually they are made with a pancake type batter. This produces a heavy gut busting fritter. At Lorelei the conch fritters were the lightest I ever ate. They were a welcome surprise. I wa amazed at their fesh taste and not having to worry about eating to many and having a full bloated feeling in my belly. Maybe they used seltzer water to fluff them up? Don’t know. But they were the best I ever ate so far.. Jimmy Bee
