The Ft Lauderdale and Pompano locations of this burger institution provides inexpensive burgers and fries. The burgers are made of a brisket and ground round mix. The brisket causes the burger to be surprisingly dry. A good crust on the cooked to well done served burgers sort of makes up for the dryness? Why not serve the burgers at a medium cooked to avoid the dryness? I used a lot of ketchup to get it down. Lettuce and tomato are served separately in a plastic bag. Weird. Fries are tasty. After eating at the Ft Lauderdale location twice, I just do not get it. But many people love Jack’s. Try a 1/4 pounder at $4.50 for yourself and find out if you are a Jack’s burger fan. – Lulu Relish
