Located inside the beautiful lobby of the Miami Brickell InterContinental Hotel is the Steakhouse Toro Toro. A dark and dank interior makes you leave beautiful Miami Beach and enter the twilight zone. Gluten free yuca bread arrives and it is delicious way to start. Enthusiastic young serves eager to run up your bill. The small to medium sized chopped salad was delicious. Fried Brussels were a cliche. Wild mushrooms were delicious. The loaded mashed potatoes were a mess. Skip those. Aged  30 days dry,  theNY Strip was served unknown to us with garlic butter melted on top. This ruined the taste of a perfectly aged piece of beef. %58 down the tubes. A faux pax of the restaurant chef. But a big miss. Wine by the glass and bottle are expensive. Desserts didn’t grab my interest. Big prices and trendy setting make this a hipster hangout not a chefs retreat – Twinkie LaRue
