You would never find this place if it were not for word of mouth. Located in a nondescript strip center at 2775 East Oakland Park Blvd, Ft Lauderdale. Off season they have the best dinning deal. On Tuesdays with a reservation the entire menu is half price with a purchase of a glass of wine. At half of the veal chop is $16 and the truffle gnocchi is $10. With prices like that you can not afford not to try this restaurant. The weekday happy hour offers many $4-$6 small taste selections. The homemade pastas, truffle cheese gnocchi, fettuccine with pesto, and the pear filled money bags are divine and only $4. The single zucchini flour for $6 is not worth it. Two grilled shrimp in pesto $6 is good but also not worth the price. Sausage with rabe and meatball with ricotta $4 each are tasty bites. Wine by the glass is $5. This place has been here for about two years but looks like it was an original tenet. Look for the water works statue of a little boy peeing to lead you to the bathrooms. Another Italian restaurant just opened up a few doors down. Why the landlord let that happen is obviously for rental income. It doesn’t make sense business wise. But time will tell if this lovely little local spot will persevere. I hope it does. – Jimmy Bee
