Rosso di Montalcino, some consider a baby Brunello. Caparzo is one of my all time favorite wine producers from Italy. This bottle goes for about $20 or less at retail stores. This 2014 vintage has medium garnet hues, soft tannins, light bodied, soft fruit notes. One might say a little diluted overall. The lack of a strong tannic backbone was a disappointment for me. But for most drinkers this easy drinking everyday red table wine will go down smooth as silk with any food pairing. I had it with spaghetti and meatballs.-Keith Ian
